"Homo-eroticism, sociality and autism are also themes which haunt the materiality of the subjects. It seems as if their own human experience is derived only from the whispers, ciphers and incidental reveries of desire and anxiety and not solely from the material world of contemporary communication, commodification or capitalism which we are fed in the mediated hyper-real. Like a phone call that shocks and amazes you, they are somehow staring death and desire in the eyes and embodying a futurity that they have not lived yet but know will come"
